10—Deacon Nominations close. August 10, 6:00 PM—Music Guest, Stephanie Miller, granddaughter-in-law of our own Cuba Miller. Stephanie has a beautiful voice, and has just released a CD. August 12, 7:00 PM—Church Council Meets. August 16—Women’s Retreat here at Riverdale

17—Deacon Candidates announced. August 18, 11:00 AM—Senior Adults meet at Calvary Baptist Church. August 20, 7:00 PM—Joseph Martin Concert. Joe is a world-renowned concert pianist, and director
of Sacred Music for Shawnee Press, where he is also a prolific arranger/composer. Our choir has sung several of his anthems
recently. This concert will rank as one of the best that we have presented at RBC. August 24—Vote for new deacons. August 31—Sunday School Promotion; Lord’s Supper; New Committees begin. July
