Hello Everyone,
We want to say a HUGE word of congratulations to Mark & Heather Wilson on the birth of their miracle son Trey. Please join us in prayer daily for Trey to continue to become a healthy bouncing baby boy!!
A bittersweet good bye to the Duncan family who have moved back to North Carolina. I have spoken with David and he says that everyone misses RBC, but they are adjusting well to the move.
Another welcome to Matt & Heather Downey & Allison Barnett who have joined our Youth Leadership Team. We look forward to the energy they will bring to our team!
A BIG welcome to Tony & Lisa Warren who have become involved with our Youth Ministry simply by having 3 Youth coming each week!  I believe the Warrens will become very involved at RBC and we welcome them all to our Youth Group!
The Youth Leaders met last Sunday to hammer out the schedule for the Youth Blog for the next 7 months.
Here are the activities for August.
A few items:
1) 5th Quarter:
The activities titled 5th quarter are tentative based on securing the Riverdale High School Gym so will not be "official" until we get approval. We will give you an update as we know more information.
2) Wed. Night Youth Fellowship:
Our Youth have enjoyed a time of fellowship each Wednesday night after class by going to local Restaurants. Our Youth group has grown so the point where it is not feasible for all of our Youth to go out every Wednesday night.
It is a blessing that so many want to go, but a burden to get everyone to the Restaurant and then back home safely. With this in mind, we have decided to allow the Youth to "Hang Out"  in the fellowship hall after the Wednesday night
classes until 9:00 PM. We are asking that each Youth Parent who has a Youth attending on Wednesday night to sign up to chaperone the Youth during that hour. Along with being a chaperone, we are asking that you provide snacks such as
drinks and chips for the night you will be the chaperone. (We don't ask much do we!!) We feel this will give the Youth an hour of time to fellowship in a safe environment and eliminate the need to transport them to and from the area restaurants.
Please let us know if and when you can help with this and we will begin a rotation among the Youth parents.
3) September 27: Youth Road Trip at Parker's Creek Baptist Church in Dickson TN
We are going to a Youth Gathering in Dickson TN and we will need drivers and chaperones. We will give out flyers about the event as soon as we get them, but it is from 9 am until 7 pm that day. The event is for Youth from 6th grade all the way to college, so we are hoping to get our college age involved.

Ice Cream & Fellowship following the concert.
