How to Become a Christian

PastorCurt.JPG

First, the Bible tells us in John 3:16 that God Loves all people so much that He was willing to give up His Son Jesus, so that any person no matter what you have done or what you look like could have everlasting life if you will only believe that Jesus is God’s one and only son and that He died for your sins. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that all people are sinners. No one is exempt. Romans 6:23 tells us that the penalty for sin is death (eternal separation from God when we die), but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. It is the gracious gift of God that we have hope in Jesus. Would you like to know today that your place in heaven is secure and prepared for you? You can know this today, but you must admit to God that you are a sinner, believe in Jesus as God’s son, and confess Jesus as Lord of your life. If this is what you feel and choose today, then pray this prayer below. Remember that it is not the words of the prayer that saves you, but it is the condition of your heart when you pray.

Prayer:

Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead.  I know that I have sinned and need forgiveness.  I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord.  Thank you for giving me the gift of eternal life.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you truly believe what you have just prayed, then Congratulations! I am so happy for you. Please let me know of your decision today by clicking here Pastor.curt@comcast.net and sending me note. I want to pray for you and help you as you begin this new and exciting journey as a Christian.

God Bless You,

Pastor Curt
